Every frame is individually made from reclaimed Scottish oak whisky barrels. Crafted by hand in Central Scotland and finished to showcase photographs, artwork and treasured memories.

Each frame takes time to make and rather than mass production, my focus is on creating frames that have character and become part of the story of the artwork they hold.

Delivery
As every frame is handcrafted and unique, I personally deliver within FK and G63 postcodes to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Alternatively frames can be collected by arrangement.
I will be attending some local craft fairs and events throughout the year where you can see my frames in person so keep an eye on my social media.

From Whisky Barrel to Picture Frame
Each frame begins its life as part of a Scottish oak whisky barrel.
The curved barrel staves are carefully selected before being steamed and gently straightened by hand. Once the timber has settled, each piece is squared, mitred and assembled using traditional oak splines for strength and character.
Every frame is then hand sanded and finished with shellac, bringing out the rich colour and grain that has developed over years.
No two frames are identical. Variations in grain, colour and the history of the oak mean every frame is a unique piece of craftsmanship.
